Product Expiry Information

Our hampers contain a variety of delicious items, each with its own specific shelf life and storage requirements to ensure the best quality and taste upon arrival.

Shelf Life:

• Scones & Pasties: Once dispatched, these items have a shelf life of 5 days upon arrival.
  
  
• Clotted Cream: The cream remains fresh for 5-7 days. Due to the unique nature of the blast freezing process and the absence of a traditional best before date, we include a card in the hamper advising our customers to consume the clotted cream within 5 days of receipt. This recommendation ensures that you enjoy the clotted cream at its freshest and most delicious. You may see a code that looks like a date on the clotted cream packaging, but rest assured, this is just a batch code.

Storage:

• Refrigeration Required: To maintain the freshness of the scones, pasties, and clotted cream, please ensure they are refrigerated upon arrival.
  
  
• Individually Packaged Items: Each item will have its own expiry date written on the packaging. Please refer to these dates to enjoy your treats at their best.

Perishable Goods:

• Some hampers contain perishable items. It is important to refrigerate these items as soon as they are received to ensure they stay fresh and safe to consume.

Cooking Instructions for Pasties: The pasties can be enjoyed cold, but if you wish to consume them hot, place them on the middle shelf of the oven at 180°C (160°C in a fan oven) for 15-20 minutes. Ensure that the product is piping hot before consumption. Our pasties are cooked fresh on the day and then sent out frozen to arrive in a chilled state ready to be kept in the fridge. Please note that the pasties cannot be refrozen.

Please keep these shelf life times in mind when selecting your delivery date. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any perishable products that were delivered for use at a later date.
