The Pasty & Cream Tea Party Hamper

I ordered the party hamper as a gift for my sisters birthday. I can not express the disappointment I felt when she sent me a photo of the delivered hamper. I am not complaining about the contents they were as advertised, but do not expect the hamper to look anything like the image sold. The contents were packed into a standard brown cardboard box not the lovely white Cornwall box. After contacting the. Cornish company I was told because of the size of the hamper it is packed in standard packaging or they would have to send several of the white boxes - this is not explained anywhere or I would not have ordered. Basically, if the presentation is not important then you’ll be happy but if it’s for a gift then I would seriously think twice.

Firstly food was outstanding, but I paid for delivery so it would arrive before noon, this unfortunately didn’t happen, I did reach out to customer care but they didn’t seem that concerned. As it was my brother and dads birthday that same day I didn’t take it further. But it’s something to be aware of if your are paying for a delivery slot for a specific reason it’s not guaranteed

It was excellent the pasties were proper size, the Cornish Tea is so good and my husband and family were delighted his Genrlemans Afternoon Tea as a birthday treat.

First time ordering the party hamper every bit as good as the cream tea we normally have. The pasties were delicious and the saffron cake beautifully moist. If you're having a party or a family event then there is plenty in this hamper for you and your guests.

Cornish pasties were awful, pastry cheap and no flavour and hardly any meat. Waste of money

The hamper date was for my husbands birthday. Due to hot weather the company made the decision to delay the hamper for the following day. I wasn’t offered any discount at all. The hamper delivery was changed to the hottest day of the week??!!! Which was also forecast the hottest day?!! I had to pay another £100 to replace the hamper meal with something else for a family of 5.
When it arrived on the hottest day…It was ok. The pasty’s had so much potato in and barely any steak in them, sadly. The scones just crumbled as soon as you put the cream on. I find the fresher they are this doesn’t happen.

Tea was just like any other. £70 inc postage was extortionate. I will not buy again or recommend.

We were absolutely thrilled with our Pasty Cream Tea Hamper. By far, the best pasty I've had in a long time. Seasoned to perfection. The scones are on another level, unbelievably light and buttery, we still kept scones after 5 days and they were still lovely. Worth every penny.

we've ordered previously and they were brilliant, sadly the third time was not the charm.
was very disappointed especially with spending £65 on this larger pack.
scones were very dry and just fell apart when lightly handled let alone buttered.
the Saffron cake was so dry it was difficult to swallow.
pasties were all vegetable and very little meat with big gaps in the pasties with nothing in.
short bread was bland and over salty.
unfortunately binned majority of the order.
Jam was lovely, ginger biscuits were nice and crunchy, clotted cream was good but got thrown as no scones to put it on.
Hate giving bad reviews but its a lot of money and left a 60th birthday tea party spoiled .

The pasty’s were very tasty, scones light and pleasant, the jam very good and of course the clotted cream excellent too. We also enjoyed both the shortbread and farings . Only the tea bags left !

Amazing quality and so many items, made my parents very happy and other members of family. Definitely ordering again thank you so much.

Got this for a friend, as a thank you for helping me out. really easy order process. Unfortunately the courier lost the first parcel but i called and they sorted a replacement for delivery the next day. my friend really enjoyed the hamper and said the pasties and scones were really delicious.
