Super buttery and soft scones

The scones were a treat for my daughter and her partner. I added extra scones because my grandson wouldn’t want to be left out. Customer services did this with no problems.

Disappointed by the texture. They were fluffy /soft like a bread roll, rather than crumbly as I like them. I made some homemade to serve with them, and I’ll stick with homemade from now on

I bought all three varieties of scones, plain, fruit and cheese. The plain scones were very disappointing, even with fresh cream and jam. Sorry, but I want to be truthful and they were not even like a plain scone, which I make myself anyway.

Ordered cream teas as gifts a few times from The Cornish Company and the recipients have always been very pleased, so I ordered some plain and fruit scones for a Mother's Day buffet, everyone commented on how light and fluffy the scones were and really enjoyed their afternoon teas

I can most definitely recommend them.

Since having have a plant based diet 10 years ago, I have had many nice creations that are badged as scones. But these are the first ones that ai would actually say are scones as I remember them. Won't be long until ai get some more
