What have you started?

Perhaps with cheese instead of clotted cream? Now, how about cheese and pickle on a cheese scone? For those with a 'savoury tooth'.

Really made me laugh! 😀

I was just thinking how disgusting this would be and then I noticed it was an April Fool. I fell hook, line and sinker! Well done. 😄

Love it!! Not.

I am utterly, utterly bereft that this is NOT a thing. I was totally going to order a hamper. My sister used to eat escargot with clotted cream, and as a Marmite addict this didn't seem a stretch at all either. Day. Ruined. Thanks for, literally, nothing.

That was braven good!

There I was, thinking about life, the Universe and everything, when I was surprised beyond belief, even more than last Friday, when I tried a Curried Vegan Soya G*nster Sausage Roll. After drinking a few pints of Rattler last night with my Pard, I ordered an Ansome Marmite cream tea from The Cornish Company, which came in a lovely box, in under an hour, all the way to St Just! Proper full of extra surprises, like heartburn tablets and a bottle of tcp! I've never tasted anything so nice! You can keep your fruity jam, the Marmite yeasty saltyness just goes perfectly with the clotted cream! I'm ordering some Marmite Pasties to go with it. Why has no-one ever made this before? Proper Job!

Curdled with delight!

What an amazing find this was. The clotted cream curdled perfectly with the Marmite giving that unctuous grainy texture on the roof of the mouth, something you only ever got from the original Bisto Beef Gravy Granules! Even better was having the wonderful Cornish tea swirling it around your mouth to swallow in one glorious waterfall down the back of the gullet. If this can be bettered, I'd like to see it... A wonderful start to the month of April!!
